On March 23, 2002, members of the local group went to see the play Paint Your Wagon, presented by the Woodland Theater in Kettle Falls.
Attending the Woodland Theater play in the spring has become something of a tradition for some members of our group.

Before the play, we had dinner in at the Cafe Italiano in Colville.

Art Ellison, also of the local group, was in charge of the lighting for the play.

For several reasons, pictures are not allowed during the play, but here are some from before the play started.

Part of the Buffet setup.
They had an extensive international buffet as well as their regular menu items.
The food was excellent. The staff refused to be in the picture, however.

We went back to the lighting cntrol room to see how Art manages such a complex task in a small theater.
The setup is actuall rather sophisticated, though that is not well reflected in this picture.

Here is Art, showing us around.

Cables, cables everywhere.

There was no practical way to take pictures of the play itself.
You will have to be satisfied with my claim that it was very well done, expecially considering the size of the theater.
